Ban Charity Collectors from the Streets
Those who collect for charity on the streets are imposing and often misrepresent the charity that they are supposed to be representing.I do not know a single person who does not find this method of collection for charity annoying.
These agents take a huge commission away from the charity so not much of the donation reaches the charity. Further, the charity often makes a loss if the donor cancels their donation after a short period of time.
There are other ways to raise awareness of charities that do not leave a bitter taste in the mouth of the public. Countries like the US do not have such aggressive street collectors and still have large private donations to charity.
